I don’t usually buy compilations on vinyl, but Hall & Oates are one of those groups that have a large catalogue but a bunch of hits I like. I didn’t want to collect their albums so a ‘best of’ double album it is!

Has all of the ‘hits’ you’d expect such as Out of Touch (probably my favorite – what an intro!), I Can’t go for That, Kiss On My List, Rich Girl, and on and on. Happy with the collection and has satisfied my Hall & Oates without needing to invest in their whole library.

The vinyl itself sounds great! Some surface noise that was gotten rid of with a good clean, but otherwise really nice and rich sounding. Apparently has gone through a remaster process, but hasn’t added nasty compression or peaking (that I can tell).

Comes across two discs – one grey and one blue. Pretty nice actually. That ‘black mark’ on the blue second disc is actually part of the pressing dye.
